How to Manifest:
Manifesting our desires has to do with our ability to receive what we ask for. Often times we may want something, but our actions and our energy is actually telling the universe to push these things away. The key is in becoming receptive and open. We also want to get into alignment with these desires. This is actually quite simple. Here are the steps:
1. Spend some time with yourself to think about what you want. Do you want more money? More friendships? A supportive living environment? More love and joy? Get clear and get SPECIFIC.
2. Write down what you want: When we write down what we want we want to make sure we are writing in terms of already having the thing we have asked for. We can do this with “I am” or “I have” statements. This is how we align with what we want- we act as if we already have it. For example: “I am living a life that is peaceful, inspiring and supportive of me becoming a more joyful, confident and independent person.” or “I have a dog that is easy to train, super loyal and lovable.” This opens a channel to the universe to align you with every person, moment, or experience you need to have that thing.
3. Once you have your list of- I like to call them Intentions- you need to form a daily gratitude practice. Each day take a moment, either in the morning, at night, in the middle of the day- to think of your list- you can even look at your list- and say “Thank you universe ( or higher power- divine beings- whatever you want to pray and give thanks to) Thank you for ______” This sends a frequency of gratitude out to the universe- that knows that you will take care of the blessings life hands you because it knows you will be grateful and tend to them with care.
4. In starting this work of intention setting and manifestation- you may want to start small and simple just to see if it works. You could try with simple things. For example- “I have $5 by the end of the week.” or “My landlord answers my emails with kindness this week.” See what happens. Give thanks and gratitude to your list. You may find yourself becoming a more hopeful and positive person. This opens up the flow to the universe in seeing you as someone who is open to receiving. See how fast it happens. Write down when it happens. Then try it again.
5. If you find that it is difficult to manifest the things you are asking for, don’t get discouraged!! It’s a mindfulness practice. Sometimes it takes awhile for the universe to adjust everything in your life for you to finally be in alignment to receive the things you are asking for. This also depends on how much self work you have done on yourself to make yourself open. Sometimes we deeply believe that we don’t deserve things. This can happen through traumatic events, low self esteem, abuse, bad life experiences. No one deserves to not get what they ask for. Spirit wants you to receive, to grow and to be the person that you desire to be! It has to do with your own faith and belief in yourself. If you struggle with your faith and belief in yourself you may need a teacher, a coach, a healer or a counselor to help support you in discovering this belief within.
6. Lastly I support you in your own empowerment towards manifesting and receiving your deepest desires. I believe in you! I believe in your faith and determination to bring in what you truly want for yourself.
7. Have fun!
